Our Trading Arm

The Coastal Collaborative Ltd. (TCC) was founded in 2023 to support the Coastal Partnerships Network charity. Its initial aims are to pursue knowledge and understanding of collaborative governance and the role of coastal partnerships and similar initiatives. As the charity matures, we will be seeking new opportunities for the trading arm.

TCC has undertaken research for UK Government bodies including the Marine Management Organisation (MMO) and Natural England (NE). We engage Coastal, Estuary and Marine Partnerships (CEMPs) where possible, to provide insights from practice to inform future policy direction. Projects have included exploring the characteristics of partnerships for marine nature recovery and the appropriate scale and boundaries for local marine recovery planning. We have also collaborated with the MMO to explore options for localising marine planning across England.

TCC are seeking new Associates to collaborate on future projects. Knowledge of working in/with CEMPs is desirable but not essential. If you are interested, please contact Dr Natasha Bradshaw (Managing Director).
