Amy brings over 25 years of experience in marine and coastal management, stakeholder engagement and multi-partner project design. She holds a BSc in Marine Biology and an MSc in Aquatic Science, and began her career as a Fisheries Observer, spending seven years at sea monitoring fish catches in the North Atlantic and South Atlantic for the EU and CCAMLR.

Before joining the Thames Estuary Partnership (TEP), Amy held a variety of roles that strengthened her expertise in resource management, collaborative processes and strategic project development. As Technical Director at TEP, she led programme development, fundraising, project oversight, and support for senior leadership and boards.

Amy has played a pivotal role in the Coastal Partnerships Network (CPN), previously chairing the Network and guiding it from a volunteer-led initiative to a fully incorporated charity between 2018–2024. As the Chief Executive Officer, she works closely with the CPN Board to establish governance, implement the business plan, and activate multi-benefit projects that support healthy marine and estuarine environments.

Driven by a passion for the ocean and the potential of partnerships to deliver people- and nature-focused outcomes, Amy’s work centres on tackling the dual challenges of climate and nature recovery through strategic collaboration.
